Our family is taking our first Disney cruise at thanksgiving & I am trying to think of EVERYTHING! My husband uses a CPAP machine and I was wondering if I need to take an extension cord just in case there isn't an outlet near by where he will need it.

    Ahoy Heidi!

I'm so excited to hear you'll be spending your Thanksgiving holiday with Captain Mickey and his crew. You'll have a lot to be thankful for this year, including beautiful port visits, Broadway-style entertainment and VIP customer service!

As a general rule, Disney Cruise Line asks guests not to bring their own personal extension cords onboard. If one is needed for medical equipment, such as a CPAP machine, you can borrow one from Guest Services to use in your stateroom during the cruise. The refundable deposit amount is $50.00. You won't find an abundance of outlets in your stateroom, so if you find that you do need a cord, simply stop by the Guest Services desk on your first afternoon onboard.

I hope this helps with your packing and planning! I know it can feel overwhelming making sure you think of everything, but many times you'll find Disney Cruise Line has anticipated your needs before you even know you have them. I hope you have a most magical Thanksgiving cruise! - Diane W.
