    Hello, my family and I are taking our first Disney Cruise in November and are so excited. We were wondering if Disney offers a way to put money on you account before we go? Something like Carnival's Cruise Cash?

    Congratulations for booking your first Disney Cruise! Like Tom Petty once said, the waiting is the hardest part! Don't worry - November will be here before you know it, and you'll soon be sailing away with Captain Mickey and his crew.

    A simple way to save for a Disney Cruise is to purchase Disney Gift Cards ahead of time and have them applied to your account. The last time I checked, you were able to credit your account with up to ten cards per day. Simply call Disney Cruise Line at 1-800-951-3532 and they'll be happy to handle that for you! Make sure to have your reservation number handy.

    If you have Disney Gift Cards or pre-paid Visa cards in hand when you board the ship, you can stop by Guest Services to have them added as credits on your stateroom account. (You can also apply cash!) Make sure to hang on to all the cards you apply to your account, just in case you have a remaining credit at the end of your cruise. Any leftover credit will be applied to one of your gift cards, and you'll want to make sure you still have the card in hand.

    When you check in at the port, you'll need to present a credit card for your stateroom account. You'll be issued Key to the World cards that will be used for entry to your stateroom as well as any onboard purchases. Credit you've applied to your stateroom account will be used to pay the balance on the last day of your cruise, and any amount remaining will be placed on your card.
