Our family is taking our first cruise with the Disney Dream to the Bahamas in May 2012. Does the Dream and Castaway Cay have the photo pass people taking pictures like they do in the WDW parks?

    Hi, Diane!

Congratulations on your cruise next year aboard the beautiful Disney Dream! Disney Cruise Line does have professional photography services on board each ship and at Castaway Cay similar to the PhotoPass Services at the Disney Parks.

Shutters is "home base" for photos for each ship while on board, and your stateroom key keeps up with those photos you're in while on your cruise.  Simply hand the photographer one key for your family, and you'll be able to see the prints or digital photos at Shutters on any given day of your cruise.

There are packages available, and I recommend purchasing the CD which gives you access to all of your photos -- if you think you'll want all your photos from the professionals.  You'll have a photo taken from the moment before you step onto the ship, at dinner, on deck , with characters, on Castaway Cay and many other opportunities. Therefore, you have the potential of racking up many, many memories on one CD!

I hope that helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
