Our family is taking a 3 day Disney Cruise out of Port Canaveral and then staying 2 nights at the Wilderness Lodge. Is it possible to link these reservations to get us an earlier booking window (60 days before DCL) for reservations during our WDW stay?

Ahoy, fellow Disney Land and Sea Lover! Jessica, this is a good question and I appreciate you thinking about those coveted reservations at your favorite Walt Disney World restaurants.

At this time, the ability to link reservations is not available. I know you have a lot of dates to keep track of for your vacation. I get excited thinking of each as a stepping stone, signaling my happiest days are getting closer. To make sure I don't miss anything, I like to set appointments on my calendar with reminders.

    • Select port adventures and onboard fun for your cruise 75-120 days before your cruise, depending on your Castaway Club member level. This starts at midnight, so I find the date (I use online date calculators just to make sure my counting is correct) and then put it on my calendar for the day before to remember to stay awake late that night.
    • Make your Walt Disney World Resort dining reservations. These open around 6:00 am Eastern. I start early, around 5:45 as there have been times these have become available just before the 6:00 am time. I also put these on my calendar for the day before the window opens so I remember to set my alarm clock to wake me up in time.
    • Check in for your cruise 30 days before your sail date. This, too, is at midnight. Be sure to have pictures of every cruiser's passport or citizenship documentation, clear pictures of each person (think passport-style photo), and the credit card you would like to be used for onboard charges. I make sure I have these set out in advance so I am scrambling in the dark at midnight trying to find them.

Each of these can be done online or on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator and My Disney Experience apps.

With so much adventure awaiting you, Jessica, I am so excited for you. Hearing Mickey say "Sea you real soon" is a bit easier when you know he and Minnie will be greeting you with their beloved sign welcoming you to Walt Disney World Resort.

If you have any other questions as you are planning the best of all vacations on land and at sea, please come back to planDisney. We are here to help.

    Cheers!
    Jana
