Our family is taking a cruise on the Dream in March. We signed up for the 9:30a.m. Blue Lagoon Island Dolphin Encounter in the Bahamas. My mom also wants to shop. Will we be dropped off near any shops or do we need to sign up for an afternoon adventure?

    Ahoy, Yvonne!

Congratulations on your upcoming cruise aboard the new Disney Dream -- she is a beauty! You are sure to be awed and amazed!

For the Blue Lagoon Island Dolphin Encounter, you will be picked up and brought back to the pier area -- about a 15-minute walk from the ship. And if you choose the earlier departure, you will return to the pier in the early afternoon. You should have enough time to board the ship, grab a bite to eat and change clothes. Then, you can stroll down Bay Street for a little shopping before you are required to be back on the ship that afternoon. Just make sure that you know exactly when you'll need to return in order to be back to the ship on time, and don't forget to bring your passports with you.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
