Hi Richard!
I cannot tell you how excited I am to “sea” that you are headed on a European adventure with Captain Mickey! My family LOVES the European itineraries and we always look forward to a new adventure each summer! I love that you can see so many places and still have a “home” to come back to each night.
You can most definitely check your children into secured programming on the ship in the
Youth Clubs while you enjoy a day on land! If you have children between the ages of 3 and 12, they will be going to the Oceaneer Club or Oceaneer Lab and if your littles are under three, they will be at the “it’s a small world”! nursery onboard. Reservations are not required for the Oceaneer Club or Lab, but if you plan on leaving littles in the nursery you will want to ensure you make a reservation for them. If your children have any dietary restrictions, and you do not plan on being back for lunch or dinner, make sure you arrange ahead of time for your dining room server to have a meal sent for your littles!
My husband and I have often left our littles in the caring hands of the incredible onboard Counselors so that we can see or do something that our little guys were too young for – or if we simply wanted a break from them! We knew they were having a great time and we were too! One thing I will say is that there are usually fewer children in the Youth Clubs on port days, which for my guys was great because they loved the extra attention…but I know some children may not like having lots of playmates there!
As you continue planning for this
MAGICal adventure, please come back with any other questions you have!
Stephanie
