Hi Bonnie,
I recently had an opportunity to tour the family suites at All Star Music Resort, and was very impressed. The suite is actually two resort rooms that have been reconfigured into a suite, and contains two full baths (which I think is a fabulous perk for a family), a kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, sink and some storage space, a master bedroom, and living room with a pull out sofa and pull out chair. Both the living room and bedrooms have their own
televisions. I think the suite is ideal for a family who would like some extra space. The kitchenette is a huge perk, and can help you save money on food in the parks if you stock it with a few simple breakfast and/or lunch items. The two rooms will allow you and your hubby to hang out while the kids dream of Tinkerbell and Mickey! I know my kids would battle it out over who got the pull out chair! Luckily, it actually sleeps two! The resort is very well-themed, and has a wonderful, huge pool that is a great retreat after a long day in the parks.
The buses from All Star Music, like every Disney property, run throughout the day approximately every twenty minutes to each of the theme parks and Downtown Disney. I find them to be convenient and reliable. I love leaving the driving to Disney while I'm on vacation. Many parents are concerned that bringing their strollers on board is a hassle and cumbersome. I've never felt rushed having to get my stroller on board, and have travelled with just about every make and model out there.
Have a magical trip!
