WE have a family suite at AOA reserved for September. Our travel agent said she can request a Cars themed room but it cant be guaranteed. On the reservation it just says "Family Suite". How can I ensure we have a Cars room? My boys would love it!

    Hi Brooke,

The Cars section is my favorite part of Art of Animation, too, even though I love the whole resort. We stayed in one of the Cars suites for my husband's birthday this year, and he got a huge kick out of the themed decor and posed for pictures with the character statues like a little kid!

If you have your confirmation number, I suggest you call the Disney hotel reservation line, (407) 939-1936, and ask that a request for a Cars suite be added to your record. You can also reconfirm your request when you do online check-in up to 60 days in advance of your arrival. Requests can't be guaranteed, but the resorts do everything they can to honor them.

Even if you don't manage to get a Cars suite, you can still walk "the streets" of Radiator Springs to see all the inhabitants and enjoy the Cozy Cone pool. But I'll keep my fingers crossed that your wish can be granted.

Please let me know if I can offer any other advice as you plan your visit. September is a great time of year for a Walt Disney World vacation. The crowds are small and the summer heat is beginning to ease a bit. Enjoy!
