Our family is staying at the Yacht Club in May 2013. We'd like to have a water view overlooking the Boardwalk. What section of rooms would be best to see the fireworks from EPCOT at night?

Hi Diane! Watching the Epcot Illuminations show from a room in the Yacht Club is fairly tricky. Your best bet is on the highest floor possible but that is the concierges floor so you might not want to put that into the budget. The other option is the farthest wing from the lobby making it quite a trek to anything else in the resort such as pool, dining, shops etc. You would want to request a water view room near the gazebo but with views of Epcot. Again this is going to limit the room assigner and it might not be possible when you check in.

If you really want to see Illuminations your best views will be inside the park as so much is done at water level for the show. Outside spots are only going to give you the sporadic high fireworks and if you are lucky you will hear some of the music.
