My family is staying at The Wilderness Lodge on Sunday Feb. 20th, but are not planning to visit any of the parks until the following day. I was wondering if any of the nighttime fireworks, etc are visible from the resort.

    Hi Katy!

Watching Wishes from outside the Magic Kingdom is one of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World with my son. The two places with the best views of Wishes are at the Beach of the Polynesian Resort or on the docks of the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. There is a great view of Cinderella Castle from both places.  If you choose the beach at the Polynesian Resort and get there early enough (about 30 min before Wishes starts), you may get to sit in a hammock, swinging chair, or reclining beach chair to watch Wishes.

Also the other benefit to watching Wishes this way is that you will be able to see the Electric Water Pageant which parades around the Seven Seas Lagoon a few times nightly!  You can take a boat or bus from the Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom and then a boat or the Resort Monorail to the Polynesian Resort or the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

I hope that you have a magical viewing of Wishes on your next Walt Disney World trip!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
