My family will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge in November. Is the children's splash pad still open beside the main pool? It had two small water slides for little kids. My kids loved coming home early from the park to play in the water.

Hey there, Holly! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for bringing us your question.

It won’t be long until you are enjoying the magic at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. This stunning craftsman style themed resort is one of my husband’s favorites; filled with details that celebrate the beauty of the untamed wilderness and rustic majesty of America’s Great Northwest.

Holly, I was able to confirm with a Cast Member that the super fun splash pad is currently open but schedules and operating hours are always subject to change. Be sure to check back as your arrival date gets closer so you know what you can expect upon arrival. A few days before you arrive, you can call (407) 939-1936 to chat with a Cast Member that will be able to check directly with the resort to let you know if the Splash Pad is open. You can also use the chat option on the website from your computer for a quick response.

I hope you have a magical stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. While there, consider dining at a personal favorite, Whispering Canyon Café. This super rowdy and delicious restaurant will delight the entire family! The All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Skillet will satisfy even the biggest of appetites. And be sure to ask for Ketchup!

Have a magical day and come back and see us real soon!
