Hello, my family is staying at Walt Disney World for 8 days at Saratoga Springs. We purchased 6 day park hopper plus water park tickets. We’d like to visit a water park on our arrival day. Can we do this or does our first use need to be at a theme park?

Hello, Kristina and welcome to planDisney!

Kristina, your Magical vacation is almost hEAR! I hope you're excited and dusting off those suitcases. Kristina, my family just returned from a longer trip and 8 days is the perfect amount of time to relax, recharge and still enjoy the enchantment of the Walt Disney World Resort.

First, Kristina, I'm happy to report that you ARE welcome to visit Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park on your arrival day PRIOR to visiting other parks. If you are using Disney bus transportation from Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, you'll want to take a bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park and then transfer to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.

Kristina, please keep in mind that while no reservation is required for Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, you will need a complimentary Disney Park Pass in order to enter Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park and Disney's Hollywood Studios. With your Park Hopper Plus option you then have the choice to visit another park (without a reservation) beginning at 2 PM.

I hope this information is helpful as you're getting closer and closer to your trip! If you have any additional questions, I hope you'll come back and see your new friends hEAR at planDisney. We love to help guests even more than Peter Pan loves adventure.
