Seasons Greetings, Lisa! And welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Your children are such a magical age to visit Walt Disney World® Resort - it's the time in their lives where they really take it all in and will remember the special moments for a lifetime.
Magic Kingdom is definitely a must-do at their ages, but I also suggest spending a day at Epcot and allowing your Mousketeers to experience the magic and wonder of the
International Festival of the Holidays. This unique yuletide celebration features international storytellers entertaining guests with tales of Christmas past from all around the world! Some of my family's favorites include:
• The Père Noël in the France Pavilion
• Helga in Germany tells a delightful story of the Nutcracker
• Sing, dance, and celebrate Feliz Navidad with a mariachi band from Mexico
They'll also be able to enjoy
Epcot's Kidcot Fun Stops. Located all around Epcot, Kidcot Stops allow families to slow down a bit and take in the moment while keeping the children entertained with crafty activities. Collect all 11 Kidcot Stamps from each World Showcase Pavillon and they can earn a free souvenir.
Staying at the Swan Resort means you are just a walk, or ferry boat ride, away from Epcot's International Gateway Entrance. This means you'll have one morning where you won't have to get up quite as early. Magic Kingdom will likely reach capacity these days, so you'll need to arrive early and stay late - making a day at Epcot a welcome slow-down.
I hope my advice is helpful, Lisa! Please let me know if you should have any additional questions. The holidays at Walt Disney World® Resort are my favorite!
