My family of 4 is staying at the Swan and has 4 day park hopper plus water park passes. For the first day of our trip, my in-laws will be staying at a different room at the Swan and have a one day pass for Epcot. How do I add them to my Disney Experience?

    Hi Meghan!

Welcome to planDisney!  A Walt Disney World Resort vacation is always full of magic, but the bigger the family, the bigger the memories!  It's wonderful that your in-laws can join you for a day at EPCOT.  Now let's take a look at how to connect everyone!

Meghan, you'll probably see in your My Disney Experience account tickets for your immediate family and your in-laws should be able to see their tickets under their account.  Each ticket should be assigned to an individual.  If you're having any issues finding or assigning your tickets, there are some helpful Frequently Asked Questions on the Walt Disney World Resort website or a friendly Cast Member at Existing Tickets would be able to look into specific issues.

Once your tickets are linked and assigned to each individual, you can then begin the linking process.  In your My Disney Experience Mobile App, click the three lines in the bottom right corner and then select "My Profile."  From the top right, choose "Family and Friends List" and then click "Add a Guest."  At this point, you'll have a few options on how to connect with your in-laws so that you can all share plans, join Virtual Queues, and make Lightning Lane reservations together!  The easiest option is for them to open their My Disney Experience Mobile App and under "My Profile" select "Show My Linking Code."  Here you'll be able to easily scan their code and link together!

It looks like your whole family will have the chance to experience the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival together!  I love visiting the festivals at EPCOT as they offer delicious food kiosks and wonderful entertainment.  Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as the festival draws closer.  They typically release a "foodie guide" ahead of the festival with some not-to-be-missed snacks as well as information on exclusive festival merchandise.  You may want to consider booking a Garden Rocks Dining Package to enjoy a meal together and then grab your reserved seating for the Garden Rocks concert that night!  My personal favorites of the available restaurants are Garden Grill Restaurant and Rose & Crown Dining Room.

Meghan, I hope you and your family enjoy making memories together at the Most Magical Place on Earth!  Please stop by and see us again at planDisney with any future vacation planning questions you have!

    See ya real soon,
    Kristi
