My family and I are staying at All Star Sports and are wondering if it would be faster for us to take the buses from resort to parks or if we should just drive our own vehicle? We will have our 2 children with a double stroller.

    Hi Jodie!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!  Disney's transportation system runs very efficiently, but when staying at the All-Star Resorts I prefer to drive my own vehicle.  Most of the time each of the All-Stars will have their own buses, but they do occasionally share buses and this will certainly extend your travel time.  The good news is that All-Star Sports is the first resort to be picked up and dropped off if the resorts are indeed sharing a bus.
I personally find that with strollers and extra gear for young children, driving your car is a faster option than taking the buses.  It is also handy having my car close by to keep extra outfits and back up supplies should I need them in an emergency.  Since you are staying at a Disney Resort just show your resort parking pass at the gate so you will not be charged for parking.  The only time I would suggest taking the bus opposed to driving your car is when you are visiting Magic Kingdom.  The buses will drop you off close to the main gates, but driving your car will require you to park at the Ticket & Transportation Center and then reach the Magic Kingdom by ferry or monorail.  While I would not rent a car for the sole purpose of driving to the parks, I would definitely take a car if I already had one available.  I hope this helps and please visit us again if you have anymore questions!

    Best Wishes!!
