My family and I will be staying at the All Star Music resort in September. I'm looking for a jogging path beyond the one mile path connecting the 3 All Star resorts; where can I explore possible routes for 5, 7, 10+ mile runs? Thanks! :)

    Hi, Michelle!

I love hearing from guests who want to maintain their training and active lifestyle while still on vacation. Way to go! Walt Disney World® Resort has some amazing recreational running paths at various distances and in various locations, here are a few of my favorites for a long run.

Disney's Epcot Area Resorts - Start along the BoardWalk of Disney's BoardWalk Resort and head toward Epcot, after crossing the bridge turn right toward the International Gateway entrance to Epcot, loop around the circle and head back. Following the path, run by Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort. You will stay along this path as you then pass the Dolphin & Swan Resorts and head toward Disney's Hollywood Studios. Once you get to Hollywood Studios, run around the courtyard and head back. Once you get back to the bridge at the Swan & Dolphin, turn left and cross over the canal, then turn left again and run the path on the opposite side of the canal back toward Hollywood Studios. When the path turns up a small hill, take it. This path will then bring you out onto Lake Buena Vista Blvd. Just keep running and then turn right onto Epcot Resort Blvd. You will then add an additional several miles by running this entire road until it loops back to the BoardWalk Resort. Turn into the BoardWalk to finish out our run. This route can get you 10+ miles, especially if you don't mind taking another loop around Crescent Lake. If you go on Map My Run, you can get a visual look at the above directions, which helps!

Disney's Polynesian & Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - The running paths between and around these resorts are easy to follow and will get you anywhere from 3.1 to 6.2 if done twice.

I hope this helps, Michelle! As the runDisney Specialist on the Panel, I'm here to help you navigate your vacation training run. Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
