My family will be staying at All Star Movies in a standard room. We were hoping to request to be in either Toy Story or 101 Dalmatians. Are these buildings ONLY preferred rooms, or are there some standard rooms available in them to try to request?

    Hi Sarah,

How wonderful that your family will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort and Disney's All Star Movies Resort is one of my family's favorite value resorts. We love all the Pixar movies and Andy's Room comes to life indeed. Make sure you note all the different recreation options the resort has available too.

The different types of room are only available in specific buildings. Standard rooms are only available in the Mighty Ducks and Love Bugs buildings, while preferred rooms are only available in 101 Dalmatians, Toy Story and Fantasia buildings.

Although you may request a particular area or building, these will be taken into consideration but cannot be guaranteed. I will try to use my Jedi Mind Tricks on the room assignors, but many times I think they are immune to it.

Feel free to come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may have. In the meantime, I'll be sending lots of Pixie Dust your way!

    Ricardo.
