Hello Amanda!
Welcome to
planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to chat about your upcoming magical family getaway. I'd be thrilled to help you with your
Lightning Lane plans, so let's dive right in!
To ensure that your entire party can experience the Lightning Lane attractions together, the best approach is to book everyone at the 3-day mark. Since your onsite family members may want to take advantage of their early booking window, here's an alternative strategy.
Have your family reserve their Lightning Lane experiences as soon as they are eligible. When your booking opens at the 3-day mark, try to secure the same attractions with overlapping return times. Even if you can't match the entire hour, a little window is fine. It might take some clicking and modifying, but eventually, you might be able to find times when you can ride together. Very popular Lightning Lane experiences like
Slinky Dog Dash,
Peter Pan's Flight, and
Tiana's Bayou Adventure might be challenging to match with your family at just three days out.
If you don't find the perfect match right away, Hakuna Matata! No worries! Keep an eye on the Tip Board, where you can adjust your selections to better align with your family's choices. Availability can change as other Guests finalize their plans. And once you're in the parks, after you’ve used your first Lightning Lane entry, you and your family can make your next selections together.
Insider tip: as soon as you tap into a Lightning Lane queue, make your next reservation; you don't need to wait until after you've ridden!
I hope this is helpful, Amanda. Best wishes for making plans with your family, and please come see us again if there is anything we can do to make future trips even more memorable.
See ya real soon!
