    My family will be staying at the Saratoga Springs Restort, and I realize it is pretty far away from the parks. About how long should we plan to be on the bus to travel to Magic Kingdom? Animal Kingdom? and Epcot? Thanks!!!

    Hi Kelly:

    My family has enjoyed Saratoga Springs Resort on two vacations. Do not worry, the resort is not that far from the parks and you shouldn't expect to spend too much time riding the buses to the parks.

    From Saratoga Springs Resort, it's about a 6 mile driving distance to the Magic Kingdom, 3 miles to Epcot, 4 miles to Hollywood Studios, and 7 miles to Animal Kingdom. There are five bus stops throughout the resort, but after the bus completes the resort loop, transportation is direct to the parks. I don't remember any bus trip to the parks taking much longer than 15-20 minutes, if not less time. I would also budget another 20 minute waiting time for the bus, although usually the wait is much shorter.

    Enjoy your vacation and Saratoga Springs. I find the resort's full-service restaurant, The Turf Club Grill, to be an underrated dining hidden gem on property.
