    My family is staying at riverside port Orleans, we can't check in to the room until 3pm, can we still park at the resort and take the water taxi to downtown Disney.

    Hello, Chris,

    Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside was my family's go-to resort for many years and will always be a favorite for us with all the many unforgettable moments we had on those trips. When you arrive, you don't need to wait until 3:00 pm to actually check-in.  In fact, you can even do an Online Check-In before you arrive if you'd like to expedite the process. The 3:00 time mentioned is a guideline as to when your room may be ready; feel free to check-in whenever you arrive at the resort.  You may even discover that your room is ready earlier than expected (no guarantees, however).

    Even if your room isn't ready, you can still park at the resort (you'll be given a parking permit upon check-in) and head to Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney) by water taxi to begin enjoying your trip right away!
