My family will be staying at Port Orleans 1/30/11-2/3/11. This will be my son's first trip and he will be 5. He has a anxiety disorder,SPD,ADHD,&OCD. I'm worried about him having panic attacks in line or during shows. How can we get him out of line qui

Hi Kathleen! I know you're so excited, and a little nervous, to be planning your son's first vacation to Disney World. You're smart to be thinking about potential issues in advance, and you'll be happy to know that Disney does make accommodations for guests with special needs. When you arrive at the park, stop at Guest Relations and explain your son's condition to the cast member who will provide you with a Guest Assistance Card. This card will allow you to wait in separate uncrowded areas, and your wait times will generally be shorter. You can also ask the cast members at each of the attractions what to do if your son needs to exit the attraction early.

I hope your son's first visit to Disney World is magical! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
