    Hi! Our family will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside May11-18th. We have a character breakfast @ Chef Mickey's May 17th for My daughters birthday. The reservation is @ 10:15am- how do you suggest getting there from our resort and when to leave?

    Hi Erin - Happy birthday to your daughter!  Chef Mickey's is a great place for you to celebrate!

    To get from the Port Orleans Riverside to Chef Mickey's, you can take the bus to the Magic Kingdom, and then switch to the monorail.  The Contemporary is one stop away on the monorail.

    I've also been told that some bus drivers may be willing to stop directly at the Contemporary if you ask.  It's definitely worth a try, but plan on going the longer route, just in case.

    For time, I would think an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes would be enough time to get there.
