Hi My family and I are staying at the Port Orleans Riverside. I heard that you can get local grocery delivery to your hotel? Is this true? How is this done? thankyou!

    Welcome back, Esther!

I hope you are looking forward to your upcoming vacation--it's almost here!

It is true you can have groceries delivered directly to your Walt Disney World® resort hotel. In fact, your resort will even store your groceries, including items that need refrigeration, until you are ready to have them brought to your room.

For further information visit the websites of delivery services local to the Orlando area, such as Garden Grocer and We Go Shop. Keep in mind these services usually require a minimum purchase amount in addition to delivery fees. I've used Garden Grocer on several occasions and have always been very satisfied.

You will also find an excellent selection of food and other various sundries at Fulton's General Store, located adjacent to the lobby of Disney's Port Orleans Resort -Riverside

I hope this information has been helpful as you complete your plans and preparations for your vacation, Esther. Please do not hesitate to ask any additional last-minute questions you may have. The Disney Parks Moms Panel is here to help.

    Have a magical vacation!
