    My family of 4 is staying at POR. Would like guidance on what area/building to request. Kids are 4 & 8. We plan to drive to the parks instead of using Disney Bus and will primarily be eating at the parks. Don't want a long walk to vehicle every day. Th

    Hi Tonya, 
    One of the great things about Port Orleans Riverside is that every building has its own parking area, so you will never be far from parking.

    If you have not already done so, I would call reservations again and make sure that on your room reservation is a 'request' to be in an area of the hotel that is close to the parking area.  While they cannot guarantee it, it is helpful to have that request on the reservation. Tell them this request again when you check in, before they give you your room assignment.  This is such a large resort with so much parking, I suspect you will not have a problem getting what you request. 

    If you want to have a look at the layout for this resort, just 'google' Port Orleans 'images' and you will find it online. Tonya, have a magical family vacation!
