Hi there, Catherine, and welcome back to planDisney! This is such a good question, so I'm glad you've stopped by. My Panelist pals and I are always here and happy to help our fellow Guests, just like you!
Catherine, as a mom, I definitely understand your desire to keep the family together during your vacation. While having more Guests in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel room than the occupancy limit is not permitted, there are a few options you might consider. First, depending on the age of your children, you might all be able to stay in the same room. To find out for sure, please reach out to a helpful
Cast Member and let them know about the ages of the Guests in your room to hear all of your options. If you haven't yet, you could request rooms that are adjacent or close to each other.
If you're considering changing Resorts, you might look at a Family Suite at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort, which can sleep six people. These rooms feature two full bathrooms, which is great for a busy family! My family loves to stay in a 2-Bedroom
Deluxe Villa when we travel with three generations. These types of rooms offer a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and lots of thoughtful storage space, which is especially helpful when you have kids in tow!
Catherine, if you'd like any recommendations about other Resorts to consider, or fun activities to do with a multi-generational crew, you have a friend in me! Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See ya real soon!
