My family and I are staying at the Pop Century Resort. I was wondering what was the best way to get to Chef Mickeys, Boma, Cape May Cafe, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, and Ohana from the Pop Century Resort.

    Hi Amanda!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

To get to Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort and Ohana in the Polynesian Resort, you should take the bus to the Magic Kingdom.  Then before going into the theme park, go to the monorail station and catch the Magic Kingdom Resort monorail.  That monorail stops at the Grand Floridian, the Contemporary Resort, and the Polynesian Resort.

To get to Mickey's Backyard BBQ, the best way is to go to the Magic Kingdom again.  Then get on a boat that runs between the Magic Kingdom and Fort Wilderness.  Boats run about every 20 minutes and it is about a 20 minute boat ride to Fort Wilderness.  When you get to Fort Wilderness, you need to walk a little less than 200 yards to get to the BBQ!

Unfortunately, there's no good way to get to Boma in the Animal Kingdom Lodge or to the Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club.  You can take a Disney bus to any theme park or Downtown Disney and then transfer to a bus going to the right resort hotel.  Or you can just take a taxi directly.  The taxi will be the quickest and easiest way, but of course it is not free.  If you use Disney transportation, I would plan on it taking about an hour for the trip.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
