Hi! My family and I were staying at the Pop Century Resort. Because their is 7 of us we are splitting into two rooms but is there a way we can get a room right next to each other?

    Hi Mark!

So glad you stopped by planDisney with your question. You will be at Walt Disney World at a prime time, especially with the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts happening during your dates. I hope you make time to experience this arts-forward festival (that’s also loaded with food and beverages).

I recently did the exact thing you want to do with your travel party: requested and received connecting rooms at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. If you complete Online Check-In for your rooms, they may actually get assigned to you before you can ask for adjoining rooms (even if you do note this request in the comments section of the check-in process). So I would suggest that you instead go to the front desk to make the request in person. Obviously, this will depend a great deal on the capacity of the resort at the time if they will be able to accommodate your request. But we were sprinkled with pixie dust on my travel dates in October, so I wish that same success for you!

Having connecting rooms really makes it feel more like you have a suite than two separate rooms! We enjoyed the extra space and being able to move from room to room and feel connected during those evening times. Plus, having one of the bed as a "queen size table bed" that stows during the day to a table is a brilliant idea and makes the room feel more spacious!

Mark, you can always connect with planDisney anytime; we love to lend advice that will benefit your Disney vacation planning! Have a fabulous time with your family at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
