My family is staying at the Polynesian Resort in Disney World. Our room type is the "Pool or Marina View". Which houses on property are considered the Pool or Marina View? Fiji? Samoa?

    Hello Stella!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are happy to assist you once again in planning your visit to the place where dreams come true.

My family is completely in love with Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, it is definitely one of our favorite Disney Resort hotels. Besides all exclusive benefits available for Guests, this resort puts you so close to the magic with monorail transportation to Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot. It also offers amazing dining options like ‘Ohana and Kona Cafe, the opportunity to enjoy a classic Dole Whip from Pineapple Lanai, and great entertainment for kids at Lilo’s Playhouse while adults enjoy some time at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto. If you like dinner shows, don’t forget to make reservations for Disney’s Spirit of Aloha.

All longhouses have excellent locations and you will truly be just a short walk away from the Great Ceremonial House. The grounds are so beautiful that you will actually want to explore all areas of this iconic resort. Longhouses that offer rooms with views of the pools and marina are Tuvalu, Fiji, Samoa. We have recently stayed at Samoa and just loved it! We requested a third floor room and it faced the Lava pool and also offered views of part of the marina and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Rooms on the other side face the Oasis pool. We specifically chose this longhouse because our little girl is always at the pool playing and it is super close to the Great Ceremonial house. Requests for longhouses are not guaranteed, but make sure you call to get that noted on your reservation as early as possible.

Thank you for sending your question our way, Stella! I hope you come back to visit us real soon!
