My family is staying at the Polynesian in a few weeks. The resort description says that the Polynesian has a "state of the art health club." Is the closest fitness center at the Grand Floridian? Is there a charge?

I'm so glad you came to visit us here at the Moms Panel, Terrence.  You must be so excited about your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort.  Disney's Polynesian Resort is definitely one of my favorite places to stay.

The new spa at The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa just opened in December of 2012.  I actually got to take a tour prior to the opening and it's absolutely fantastic.  You are correct.....You will be able to use the health club at the Spa while staying at the Polynesian.  There is a lovely walkway from the Polynesian to the area of the Grand Floridian along Seven Seas Lagoon.  As you walk towards the Grand Floridian from the Polynesian, Senses Spa will be on your left just past Disney's Wedding Pavilion.   There is no charge to use the fitness facility if you are a Guest of the Polynesian or Grand Floridian.  You will just need to present your room key (Key to the World Card) as you enter.   Take a look here at the Amenities and Services at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

I hope this helps, and I wish you a MAGICAL vacation!
