    My family and I are staying at POFQ the second week of June. We have a standard room. How much more are the rooms with a balcony? Would you recommend a room with a better view?

    Hi Chad - I love Port Orleans French Quarter - I hope your family enjoys it!

    The rooms at the Port Orleans French Quarter are "motel-style", meaning that the exit leads directly to an exterior corridor.  As a result, the rooms do not have private balconies.

    Upgraded rooms have a water view, which can be a view of the river, or of the pool.  If you aren't planning on spending too much time in the room, I wouldn't pay extra for the water view, personally.

    I'd also recommend that you visit the independent website www.portorleans.org which has loads of wonderful information about the entire resort.
