My family will be staying at POFQ June 22-29. It will my 82 year old grandmother's and 2 year old daughter's first trip. What building/floor would you recommend to limit our walking, without having to upgrade to a more expensive room? Thanks a bunch!

How AWESOME that you are visiting WDW with both your grandmother and daughter on their first trips -- talk about making memories!

At Port Orleans French Quarter, I'd recommend building 4 to keep you close to the main building where the food court and shopping are located.  Similarly, it will also keep you closest to the bus stop to pick up transportation to the parks. First floors are always the easiest to get to, in my opinion.

You can include the request in your room reservation (not guarantees, however) and also by calling the resort directly at 1-407-934-5000 anywhere from 4 - 10 days from your arrival date - just ask for the back office. Don't hesitate to let them know the reason why you are making the building/floor request.

    Have a magical trip!!
