My family is staying at one of the cabins at Fort Wilderness. We plan on taking advantage of the full kitchen for cooking, but my question is, can we use a Crock pot to make some of the meals. Thank you!

    Hi Annale!

You will love staying in the Fort Wilderness Cabins during your Walt Disney World vacation. They have been recently refurbished and redesigned giving the guests even more storage and better room.

The kitchens are fully equipped with simple cooking utensils and pans. You are more then welcome to bring your own crockpot to add to your cooking options but one is not provided in the cabin kitchens. There is plenty of counter space to plug one in and it is a great way to add to your cooking menus. The microwave/convection oven is also very easy to use. I use one all the time in our motor coach and it is not much different then a regular oven. It is smaller and the cooking time needs to be adjusted to a few minutes less for recipes but other then that it will cook great foods. I have made many pies and meatloaf and other foods in mine.

Enjoy cooking up some great meals in your cabin but don’t forget to save some time for lots of fun!
