My family and I will be staying in one of the cabins at the Fort Wilderness Campground in Sept 2011. And I was wondering if the roads are dirt like normal campgrounds or if its all paved?

    Hi Amy,

All of the main roads including the roads leading into and out of the campsite loops are paved.  If you rent a golf cart, you will find some of the paths that you drive on (only for the use of golf carts and service vehicles/carts) will be mulch/dirt covered and not paved.  All of the roads you will use with your car will be paved though.  Hope this helps, have a fantastic trip and enjoy your vacation at Fort Wilderness Campground.

    Best wishes,
    Brigitta
