My family and I are staying offsite in July about 6miles from WDW. We'll have a rental car, but is it more efficient to call a cab each day? Do you have typical rates for cabs? There will be 4 adult and 3 kids under 5

    Hi there, Nicole!

As someone who drives to Disney on a regular basis, I am typically a strong advocate of having a car at ones disposal. In this case, however, I'd encourage you to weigh your options.

First of all, you should know that taxis are readily available at every one of the Disney Parks and Resorts. Leaving a Park will certainly not be an issue for your travel party. Any Cast member by the Park exit will be able to provide you with directions to the closest cabstand.

As a Guest who is staying offsite, you will need to pay for daily parking. Currently, parking for one day is $14.00. Cab rates can vary, depending on the size of the vehicle you get, and the traffic on the route your driver chooses to take.

Based on those choices, you might really want to consider the cab option. But that car is going to come in handy for grabbing meals, snacks, necessities, and more.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
