My family and I are staying off site while going to Disneyland. Would we have to pay to park if we leave and come back the same day?

    Hi there Jessica!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love helping other families from New Mexico plan vacations to the Happiest Place on Earth! I'd also be happy to give you a little more information about Parking at the Disneyland Resort.

If you plan on driving to Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, you have two different parking locations to choose from: Mickey & Friends Parking Structure and Toy Story Parking Area. Both of these options offer bus or tram transportation to the Parks (though you are more than welcome to walk if you choose). One of the great benefits to parking at either location is the ability to leave and return to either parking area on the same day for no additional cost. Just pay in the morning when you initially park, and remember to keep your receipt to show the Cast Member when you return. I have done this numerous times, and it has been a breeze! I would also advise looking at a map of both locations before your trip so you can decide which parking location is more convenient to where you will be staying. You can search for "Mickey & Friends Parking Structure" or "Toy Story Parking Area" on any GPS or map application.

Feel free to stop by with any other questions, and have a magical day!
