my family and I will be staying at a non Disney resort during our vacation. Are you allowed to book a character dining experience at a Disney world resort if you are not staying at that resort?

Hello Amanda and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with such a great question about your upcoming vacation.
One of my absolute favourite things to enjoy with my own family is to take in a magical Character Dining Experience during our Disney trips and I'm super happy to share with you that any Guest regardless of where they're staying are more than welcome to make an Advanced Dining Reservation in any Disney restaurant or Resort.
So go ahead "Be our guest, be our guest! Put our service to the test, tie your napkin 'round your neck cherie and we'll provide the rest!"
It's easy to make Advanced Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance of your visit via My Disney Experience or by speaking to a helpful Cast Member by dialling the Dining Reservations telephone number contained within this Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory link.
Bon appetite and have a great Disney day.
