Family staying 7 nights at POR (have car). On 5/5, we have ADR for 9:30am @ 1900 PF & then plan day @ EP. Is it practical to arrive early & park @ EP, take MR to ticket station/then to GF/ then back to EP; or best to drive to GF? 2yo likes trains.

Hi, William!    The easiest solution for you is to take your own car to the Grand Floridian for your breakfast reservation.   When you arrive at the Grand Floridian, the security guard will give  you a parking permit allowing you to park in their lot.   After breakfast, you can drive to Epcot and simply park there for the remainder of your day.   Parking will be free for you at the Grand Floridian (unless you choose to Valet Park) and at Epcot (since you are a Disney Resort Guest.)  This will save you a lot of transportation time.

If your son is looking forward to the monorail, plan to get to the Grand Floridian early and take a lap around the resorts before your breakfast!   (Plan to be on the monorail by 8:30 a.m. if you do this to allow plenty of time to get back for your 9:30 a.m. reservation.)

Enjoy your stay at Port Orleans Riverside.   What a beautiful resort!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
