Welcome, Nicole and thanks for making the trek to planDisney, where we love helping guests create memorable adventures!
Nicole, my family and I stayed at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village just this past August, so I'm hoping I can provide a little insight from my trip that will help.
As the Walt Disney World Resort continues to
operate in a state of phased reopening, a few favorites (like the cultural activities available at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge) are on pause. While this was the case during my trip, I confirmed with a Cast Member today that we don't yet have a date when these will return. But...
Hakuna Matata! I am happy to report that the Community Hall is open and welcoming guests. When we visited in August we were able to play pool and there were craft opportunities available as well.
Nicole, while we did miss a few of the extra bead activities, we were thrilled to see Cast Members outside on the Savanna ready to chat about the animals. My youngest son was mesmerized by the giraffes and we loved the Magic of viewing our tallest friends whenever we wanted!
Nicole, I hope this helps as you are planning ahead for your upcoming trip. If you're thinking about dining in your villa, read
this recent question and answer by my fellow panelist, Andres, as he gives some great tips about grocery ordering. Finally, while the animals are the star of the show at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village, the famous zebra domes are a close second. I'm happy to share that if you love to end your day with a sweet treat like I do, these were available in the refrigerator case at
Johari Treasures, located in the lobby.
Best wishes, Nicole for a pixie dusted stay.
Please come back and see us here at planDisney with any other questions you might have,
Lauren
