My family of 5 is staying in the Grand Floridian's Sugar Loaf Building (club level). What are the best rooms? Should we be on the ground floor (easy access to breakfast, etc.), and should we face marina or pool?

    Hi Anna,

My parents have stayed in the Sugar Loaf Lodge at Disney's Grand Floridian on a number of occasions and they just love it.  They do request a room on the first floor because it is so convenient to all the delicious treats in the concierge lounge.  The baked goodies are especially tasty!

If you are looking for a more private patio while staying at the Sugar Loaf Lodge, then I would suggest requesting a room that faces the marina.  However, I personally prefer a room on the side facing the main pool so that I can see all the activity in the main courtyard of the resort.  This place is just so beautiful!  Even the first floor patios are relatively private since the bushes are full and lush in front of them.

Be sure to spend at least one evening watching the fireworks above Cinderella Castle from the beach at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.  It's an enchanting experience!

    Have fun!
