Hi there LaDonna, and welcome BACK to planDisney! It's great to see a fellow Marylander here. How exciting to be planning your first stay in the Disney Resorts Collection. You'll love staying in the magic at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
LaDonna, you are asking about two of my favorite things in Walt Disney World - the Gran Destino Tower at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, and the
Disney Skyliner. The Gran Destino Tower is a gorgeous and luxurious addition to the resort. Do not leave without enjoying the ambiance and Spanish-American cuisine at
Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa del Lago; it's fabuloso!
To access the Disney Skyliner from your resort, I recommend taking a bus to
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and boarding a gondola at the adjacent station. You'll disembark at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort where you can explore,
imbibe at the local watering hole, or take flight once again and soar to either Disney's Riviera Resort,
Disney's Pop Century Resort, or
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. We recently spent my daughter's birthday at
Disney's Riviera Resort, and when it was time to select her birthday souvenEAR, we hopped over to
Everything POP Shopping & Dining via the Disney Skyliner where the stuffed animal selection was best.
LaDonna, I hope this is helpful as you prepare for your exciting vacation. While you count down the months, be sure to
follow planDisney on social media for real-time advice and travel tips. Finally, if there is anything else we can do to make your stay more magical, please come see us again. We're all ears!
