Hi, Sophia, and welcome to planDisney! Your trip is getting so close, I bet you can practically hear the whistle of the Walt Disney World Railroad blowing in the distance. If not, soon you will! But first, let's figure out how to keep your furry family member safe inside your accommodations at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort - A Disney Vacation Club Resort.

I have some good news for you. I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who confirmed that yes, you can request a baby gate, but they are very limited, subject to availability and not guaranteed. Since your stay is quickly approaching, I recommend calling the Walt Disney World Reservations line and having this request added to your reservation. If this is something that is absolutely necessary for your trip, I would be on the safe side and bring one with you. Alternately, you could order one online and have it delivered to your resort for a fee.

You're visiting at such a great time! Soarin' Across America recently debuted at EPCOT in celebration of America's 250th anniversary. Over at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets recently opened up, too. I simply cannot want to ride that one. Disney has collaborated with some great musicians on the ride soundtrack. At Magic Kingdom, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad recently reopened with some new effects after a lengthy refurbishment, and Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress will soon be closing for an extended refurbishment while new scenes are being installed. If this is a favorite of yours, you'll be there just in time to take one more revolution through the decades with our family that never seems to age. Rounding out the four Disney Theme Parks, Bluey's Wild World at Conservation Station just opened up at Disney's Animal Kingdom where Guests can mingle with Bluey and Bingo while dancing and playing games.
