We are a family of 6 staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins. Since we will have a kitchen we are considering not purchasing a dining plan. Could you give me an idea of the average cost of counter-service dining for lunch and/or dinner? Thanks.

Hi, Judy!   The cost of your meals is going to depend on location, type of meal, if you add drinks, desserts, etc.   A real ballpark figure will be $5 - $6 for kids per meal, and $8 - $12 for adults per meal at a Quick Service location.

To get better idea on cost, go to and click on DINING.  You can click on each individual restaurant for menus and pricing.   Use this as a guide, as pricing does change.

Enjoy your stay at the Fort Wilderness Cabins!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
