My family is staying at the Drury Plaza Hotel (Disney Springs) for our trip and I am wondering if there is a way to be dropped off at EPCOT's International Gateway Entrance for early entry (as we're wanting to rope drop the Remy ride). TIA!

Hi there Kelsey, and welcome to planDisney!

The art of a well-planned rope drop strategy is something that I love seeing folks and families around the world master, and it sounds like you've definitely got a good game plan in mind to cut down the travel time and be among the first to hop in line for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. In fact, I recently accomplished this during our most recent stay and am happy to provide you with some Princely pointers to help you along the way:

    • Being able to take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry can really get you scurrying ahead of the rat race, even when you might be staying a little further than the Disney Resorts Collection hotels. However, I continually observe folks making their way over to Disney's BoardWalk in order to make use of the International Gateway entrance into World Showcase - which is definitely my favorite way to head in and out of EPCOT.
    • In more recent years, the Security Cast Members stationed in the booths leading to the resort parking areas and drop-offs at locations including Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort have been observed strictly denying entry to guests who aren't staying at the particular Disney Resort Hotel or without a dining reservation that they can look up. (It's important to remember that these Cast Members may just be doing as instructed by their management, and their prerogative may be to ensure that these areas are kept clear and not overcrowded for guests staying or dining there.)
Policies may always be subject to change without prior notice, so it's always a good idea to check again closer to your trip just in case anything has changed. In the meantime, we're always here for you at planDisney to look up the latest updates at Disney Destinations so don't hesitate to come back and ask again!

Wishing your family all the best on your early morning adventuring!
