Hi Kathy,
Welcome to planDisney!
Let me first say that I am sending some special pixie dust to you as you plan a trip for a larger group to the Walt Disney World® Resort! I have planned a few trips with a larger group and those can require more than a little extra patience. Unfortunately, you will have two
dining reservation booking window dates since you will have a split stay between different
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. Your dining reservation booking window will open for the first stay and then, it will open for the second stay.
As you prepare to make those dining reservations with a split stay, I recommend prioritizing the hard to get reservations first. We always make our reservations for
Space 220 Lounge,
Cinderella's Royal Table, and
Be Our Guest restaurants first. If a restaurant does not have any availability when your first booking window opens, try again with the second booking window. And, if there is still no availability, do not lose hope. We have snagged several reservations the closer it gets to our arrival date and, in some cases, while we are there!
While you have some time, I would also double-check to be sure everyone is connected to your Family & Friends List in
My Disney Experience. If you are not sure who will be dining at each location, try making the reservation for the number of people you anticipate without linking to specific profiles. If you need to modify or cancel, be sure to do so within the timeframe to avoid
cancellation or no-show penalties.
Kathy, keep up the
practically perfect planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
