    Hello! My family is going to be staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside in mid-January. Will we be able to participate in the Beignet Dash?

    Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for visiting us with your great question about the Beignet Fun Run in Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter.

    Congratulations on your upcoming Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside stay! You have chosen one of the best Disney Resorts Collection hotels on property. From the theming to the food, it’s hard to not absolutely love this fabulous hotel! 

    Lauren, yes, you should be able to participate in the Beignet Fun Run during your stay in mid-January. The Beignet Fun Run is offered most Sundays, but it is not offered on official runDisney race weekends.

    Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. ET and the run begin at 8:00 a.m. ET. You can check in on the riverwalk between Building 5 and the Doubloon Lagoon pool area! At the current time, the Beignet Fun Run is $15.00 per person, plus tax and it includes a finishers medallion and my favorite part: a tasty, warm beignet!
     
    Lauren, you can register in person beginning at 7:30 a.m. on the day of the fun run. Please keep in mind that the run will not take place during inclement weather. If you pay the fee and the run is canceled due to bad weather, you will be refunded.
