Hello, My family and I will be staying at the Disney's Port Orleans, French Quarter in May. We have a reservation for the Bon Voyage Breakfast at the Trattoria al Forna at 9:15. What time should we be on the bus to make our reservation?

    Hi Rebecca!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I'm so happy to hear you'll be experiencing one of Walt Disney World Resort's newest Character Dining offerings, the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast. Featuring favorite Disney Characters from Tangled and The Little Mermaid, this breakfast event is becoming more and more popular with Disney Guests! Your meal will begin with a delicious assortment of breakfast pastries, served in a frying pan (shout out to Rapunzel!), followed by entrees you'll choose from several yummy selections. Hopefully you'll get a chance to see Flynn Rider's smolder during your meal!

With a 9:15am reservation, you should have no trouble arriving on time using Disney's Complimentary Resort Transportation. On the morning of your breakfast reservation, buses should begin running to Disney's Hollywood Studios one hour prior to park opening (typically 9am), so the first bus should depart around 8am. Your best bet is to arrive at the bus stop by 7:45 - 8am to to catch the first bus of the day. When you reach Hollywood Studios, head to the Friendship Boat launch (right past the park entrance), and take a short boat ride over to Disney's Boardwalk Resort area. You can also walk to the Boardwalk from the entrance of Hollywood Studios - it's about a 10-15 minute walk along Crescent Lake, over to the Boardwalk area, and the Trattoria al Forno Restaurant.

I hope this helps with your planning. Have a great time at the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast! - Diane W.
