Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kayla!
I am so glad that you asked this question because your strategy is so similar to how my family visits the parks! We usually stay at the Disneyland Hotel and are up early every day for Extra Magic Hour. Since we want to spend that time in the parks riding attractions, we often eat a quick breakfast either in our room or on the way to the park gates. I typically order groceries so we have some things to munch on in our hotel room. These include bagels and cream cheese, single-serve cereal bowls, and fruit. This makes it really easy to have a quick bite to eat before heading out the door.
Another option is to pick up a warm, hearty breakfast at
Tangaroa Terrace. This quick service option is located in the pool area of the hotel and is usually open at 7:00 a.m. You can eat at the restaurant, or get the food to-go and take it back to your room. The
Coffee House, also near the pools, is open at 6:00 a.m. and is another option for a cup of coffee, a pastry, or even a Dole Whip!
Finally, there are two Starbucks locations in the Downtown Disney District for you to pick up your favorite beverage and perhaps a breakfast sandwich. The best option coming from the Disneyland Hotel will be the Starbucks West location by the LEGO Store. This one is usually less busy and very close to the hotel. Unlike the Starbucks locations inside the parks, you can order ahead on the Starbucks app for the two locations in the Downtown Disney District. We often just swoop in, pick up our mobile order, and get going to the parks. It is so quick, easy, and delicious!
I would love to help you with any other questions you may have, so please stop by again!
