Hiya Lina,
Welcome to planDisney! One of my favorite ways to travel around Walt Disney World to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios is the
Disney Skyliner. My toddler loves pointing out the different characters on the other sky-bound vehicles as we soar by. Plus, I love not having to collapse my stroller to ride!
In my experience, Lina parking at
Disney’s Riviera and
Caribbean Beach Resort (and all the other resort hotels) is limited to overnight Guests and Guests with confirmed dining reservations. That said, I’ve also had experiences where my local family could drop off groceries at my resort by simply providing my room number and information to the parking attendant. When I spoke to a Cast Member named Karlene today, they told me that Guests of resort hotels can request a day pass for family planning to visit. Your family member would need to notify Cast Members at the front desk that they would like to request a day pass for you to visit and park for the day. If it can be accommodated, then the Cast Members will be able to grant it and notify the parking attendants to allow you to park for your visit. Again, there is no guarantee, but it never hurts for your family member to make the request.
I hope this was helpful, Lina. Before I let you go, if you aren’t able to get a day pass (or even if you are), I highly recommend getting a dining reservation for
Topolino’s Terrace at the Riviera Resort. Not only can you park for up to three hours and enjoy exploring the resort, but you will also get to enjoy the most incredible meal. Topolino’s is one of my favorite places to dine (especially for breakfast), and I’m sure you and your family will love it. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
