Can my family, while staying in a Disney resort, resort hop and use the other resorts pools and playgrounds?

    Hello, Stephanie,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel about Disney Resorts. For me, visiting the resorts at Walt Disney World are nearly an attraction by themselves, and I love to visit them for shopping and dining.  I purposefully plan our trips to include visits to resorts so that I can experience them.  When visiting them, my family enjoys many aspects of the resorts:  lobbies, shops, landscaping/walking paths, playgrounds and restaurants.  However, we are not able to visit the pools since we aren't resort guests.

Please know, too, that there are not buses that run from resort to resort.  If you are using Disney transportation, you'll want to use a theme park as a hub.  For example, if I were going from Disney's Pop Century Resort to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, I'd take a bus from Disney's Pop Century Resort to Disney's Animal Kingdom then transfer to a Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge bus.

If we can help with any further questions, please let us know.  We are happy to help!  -Kara
