Hi Suzy,
Celebrating a holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort is extra magical, you're going to have a wonderful time! Although there has been no official announcement regarding Easter 2016 events or Dining Experiences, I can let you know what has taken place in the past.
As far as Dining goes, last year
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa held an Easter Brunch with an assortment of delicious menu items such as chilled strawberry soup, molasses glazed ham, and salmon as well as options for kids. There were Easter-themed activities, and Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny greeted guests in the Ballroom. Balloon artists and face painters were also part of the fun.Another "Egg-stra" special experience that usually takes place there is the Easter egg display. Hand-painted, hand-carved chocolate Easter eggs are on display for Guests to view while visiting. These exquisitely detailed eggs are true works of art and, of course, each design has its own unique element of Disney magic! At Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, there was an Easter Character Brunch at
Garden Grove, Easter egg hunts, bunny hop races, and arts and crafts.
Disney Egg-stravaganza was held in Epcot. Guests could explore the Park hunting for eggs that portray Disney characters! There was also a special map and stickers that were available for purchase so you could keep track of your discoveries and then receive a special surprise when you have completed the hunt. There was also an "Egg-citing" Meet and Greet with the Easter Bunny that took place in Town Square in Magic Kingdom Park.
I suggest checking the Disney Parks Blog frequently for updates and new event information. I hope this information helps.
Magical Wishes,
Susan
